The AI Alliance has released the 2026 university ranking for the quality of training specialists in the field of artificial intelligence: vk.cc/cOkNIL.

The analytical framework is based on data from open sources, survey results, and information provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

According to the ranking, Yugra State University and Tyumen State University entered the top‑3 in the Ural Federal District (Group C) in terms of the quality of AI specialist training, ranking only behind Ural Federal University and South Ural State University.

Over 200 universities across the country and 140 companies were evaluated across four blocks of criteria:

demand for graduates in the job market;

relevance of the educational process in the field of AI;

educational environment;

activity in developing school‑level education.

For universities, the ranking serves as an excellent tool to identify growth points and enhance the effectiveness of the educational process. For prospective students, the platform helps choose the right university and career trajectory.
