An online meeting of the International Friendship Club of Yugra took place, involving representatives from Australia, Algeria, Senegal, and Russia. The meeting was organized by linguistics students from the 2nd and 4th courses of the Higher School of Humanities at YuSU. Together with the Youth Center of Yugra, active student participants are implementing the project "Development Program of the International Friendship Club of Yugra."
International friendship clubs was found in 2024 by order of the President of Russia and help students get acquainted and exchange experiences with peers from different countries.
During the meeting, participants discussed rules for information security. Such discussions develop critical thinking, help practice English, and teach looking at situations from different perspectives.
Throughout the academic year, more than ten online meetings are planned. Any student who wants to expand their social circle, improve their English, and participate in international projects can join the club. Announcements of meetings and registration information will be published in the group of the International Friendship Club of Yugra.
