The international school, organized as part of a joint project between North Caucasus Federal University, the "Studtourism" program, and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The selection process for the school was highly competitive. Only 15 students were selected from a large number of applicants, and Alisa from YuSU was among them. A team of students from various regions of the country traveled to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Before the trip, the participants actively discussed case studies and worked in partnership with the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the North Caucasus Federal University.
Over the course of five days, the participants not only studied theoretical aspects but also immersed themselves in an atmosphere of intercultural communication. They interacted with local students, which was an incredible experience. While working on their projects, the students presented their ideas to officials from the Department of the Ministry of Sports of Kyrgyzstan and other agencies.
The program was rich and included both academic and extracurricular activities. Students visited picturesque sites across the country, including Ala-Archa, where they enjoyed nature and glacial panoramas; the Jashtyk Health and Recreation Center on Lake Issyk-Kul, where they learned about the region's tourism infrastructure; the historical and cultural landmarks of Bishkek; and the city museums and spaces of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Along with the excursions, a rich educational program was held, including lectures, master classes, and teamwork. Participants worked in three areas: patriotism, media, and tourism.
