YuSU Rector Roman Kuchin, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Tatyana Kostyleva, and Director of the Center for International Cooperation Oksana Gololobova are currently working in the People's Republic of China. A YSU delegation visited the Beijing Institute of International Education. The purpose of the meeting was to sign an agreement and discuss specific avenues for developing cooperation.

The meeting was hosted by Vice President Ada Huo, Assistant to the President Valis Hou, and staff from the International Department. The Beijing Institute of International Education is a reputable agency with 18 years of experience, specializing in assisting Chinese educational institutions in finding international partners and launching tangible projects. In particular, the organization has extensive experience in successfully accrediting Sino-foreign joint programs. "This area of activity is of particular interest to us," emphasized Roman Viktorovich.

YuSU's research work has attracted the attention of two Chinese universities. Hubei University of Automobile Technology and Xinjiang University have expressed preliminary interest in collaboration.

"During discussions with our Chinese colleagues, we identified promising educational programs that we can develop jointly, such as information technology and electrical energy at the undergraduate level. As a result, we cemented our intentions by signing a memorandum of cooperation," noted YSU Rector Roman Kuchin.

YuSU's delegation will present the university's potential at the Russian House and participate in the China Education Expo, an exhibition of Russian education for Chinese recruiting agencies and prospective students.
